I worked in Birmingham skin hospital from 1987-1996 and spent about ten years there.<\/p>\n
In 1997 laser was introduced in United Kingdom and Birmingham skin hospital for the first time. It was one of the very few centers that started introducing laser in field of dermatology. During that time I was a registrar in that particular hospital.<\/p>\n
In the hospital I was assigned with a task to do experiments with different skin conditions using different types of lasers. So most of the common conditions at that time which we used to treat with lasers was Tattoo. Then I started treating viral warts with lasers and I proof scientifically that we can stop feeding the blood vessel to a viral wart with pulse dye laser which can actually destroy the viral wart. In fact it was very common problem.<\/p>\n
So there were many other applications which we started using laser for like wrinkles on the face, acne scars. We used carbon dioxide laser for removal of acne scars and wrinkles and skin.<\/p>\n
